Implement a workweek with four 10 hour days instead of five 8 hour days.
Encourage employees to participate in organized community events like beach clean-ups.
Manually clean your pool filter. You’ll do a better more thorough job and use a lot less water.
Use old rags and a bucket of water instead of a hose to wash your car with much less water waste.
Repair swimming pool leaks. Even a small leak in either pool equipment or structure represents a substancial waste.
Use a pool cover to reduce water loss from evaporation and reduce heating bills by preventing night heat loss.
Buy a rain gauge to track how much rain or irrigation your yard receives or use a screwdriver as a soil probe to test moisture. If it goes in easily, don’t water.
Run your dishwasher and clothes washer only when fully loaded, use the air-dry option and clean the dishwasher drain.
