Keep the blinds closed to conserve heat in winter and keep it out during the summer.

Consider consolidating office machines by purchasing a machine that performs multiple office functions (fax, copy, scan, etc).

Have Your Heating System Cleaned

Every fall, have your heating system cleaned and inspected by a qualified contractor. Keep vents clean.

Save on Utilities

Use an EPA-approved wood burning stove or fireplace insert to save on utilities.

Seal in Heat

Install storm windows and exterior door. For older windows, use a plastic window kit to cut drafts and seal in heat.

Celebrate at Home

Celebrate the holiday at home (don’t fly) or consider buying carbon credits to offset your trip.
